End-User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Grant of License

By purchasing and downloading the CookieWP WordPress plugin (“Software”), you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Software on one (1) domain only, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing by the developer (BORN).

For each additional domain, a separate license must be purchased.

2. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

Redistribute, resell, license, or sublicense the Software to any third party without the prior written consent of BORN.
Modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Software (except for permitted customization via CSS or translation tools).
Use the Software in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

3. Ownership

All intellectual property rights, title, and interest in the Software remain the exclusive property of BORN. This license grants you use rights but does not transfer any ownership.

4. Support and Updates

The license includes:

Access to bug fixes, performance improvements, and feature updates (within the same major version).
Email support for installation and basic configuration issues.

There are no subscription or renewal fees. Major version upgrades or extended features may be offered separately.

5. Termination

This license will be terminated immediately and without notice if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies of the Software.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. BORN does not guarantee error-free operation or compatibility with all third-party plugins or themes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BORN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

CookieWP does not collect or store end-user data by default. All consent data is stored locally on your server. You are solely responsible for ensuring your website’s compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, and PIPEDA.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Latvia.

By downloading or installing the Software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this License Agreement.
