They wanted to make the site more attractive to match their house style and shop design, a quick and simple way for customers to buy flowers and send personalised cards. The site needed to work with their Facebook and Twitter accounts and a new Mailchimp account was needed to collectemail addresses from the website and Facebook.
They were concerned they weren’t getting orders for national delivery ‘Flowers in a Box’ via their courier so needed the website to change that.
Edited images – Fleurs had a logo and had commissioned a beautiful artwork of flowers in pottery jugs from a local artist. They also wanted to feature an old fashioned birdcage. I used a stock image for the birdcage and Photoshopped the logo and artwork to show them in different ways on the site
eCommerce shop driven by Woocommerce with payments taken by SagePay or on account for corporate customers
Three delivery methods – local, national by courier and pick up from shop each with specified delivery dates
National delivery by courier is highlighted on the homepage and has a page of its own within the site
Over 50 products, most with size or colour variations with different prices for each to be chosen by customers at point of sale
Product listing. Products can be shown by type (bouquets, vases, roses or gifts), by colour or by occasion (Valentine’s Day, Christmas, New Baby, Mother’s Day, Funerals) or all together in the home page
Product sorting. Products can be sorted on screen by popularity, newness or price – ascending or decending
Key products are highlighted in a side box on the homepage Tweets from the shop automatically appear on the homepage
Online marketing. Two methods for customers to sign up to mailing lists, one on the homepage and one at the checkout. Email addresses are automatically entered into Mailchimp for email marketing campaigns
